Factors Causing the Crime of Smuggling Tranggiling Animals in the Riau Regional Police Legal Area, namely, economic factors and environmental factors, as well as not yet maximum control from the government in providing protection for these protected wild animals. Efforts to Overcome the Crime of Trafficking in Animal Trafficking in the Riau Regional Police Jurisdiction Prioritizing preventive measures will certainly have a positive effect on the prevention of the smuggling of protected wildlife, because preventive efforts will be far more efficient than the efforts carried out when an act has taken place. crime.
