The Philosophical Meaning of Covid-19 Construction of Social Reality in Music Video Permission To Dance by BTS (Charles Sanders Peirce Semiotic Analysis Study) Meri Mersita 189110182 Since the COVID-19 pandemic, all activities can only be done at home, and wearing a mask is mandatory to avoid the virus. However, we must continue to live our lives as they should be. There is no need to worry because we know how to overcome the challenges that will arise until the pandemic is over. This was revealed in the music video Permission to Dance by BTS, a South Korean boy band. BTS described how they felt the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, which prevented them from carrying out their normal activities. The message that BTS wanted to convey is related to a social reality construction described by Berger and Luckman. The purpose of this research was to determine the meaning of reality as constructed by the music video Permission to Dance. In this research, the researcher used the semiotic method. The researcher also conducted an analysis as to the construction of social reality seen from the philosophical meaning. The results of the research showed that we must continue to live life even though the COVID-19 pandemic is still around us because we must see a very beautiful tomorrow; there is no need to be afraid to fall when obstacles arise
