To safeguard conservation areas in various areas, a Center for Conservation of Resources (BKSDA) was formed. One of the functions and functions of BKSDA Riau is exercising its authority to preserve the Bukit Rimbang Bukit Baling Wildlife Reserve. The purpose of this study was to determine the Government Governance and obstacles in the Center for Conservation of Natural Resources of Riau Province in Preserving Bukit Rimbang Bukit Baling Wildlife Reserve in Kampar Kiri Hulu District, Kampar Regency. Seen from Government Regulation Number 45 of 2004 concerning Forest Protection, Firstly BBKSDA Riau has made efforts to prevent and limit forest damage by establishing various collaborations and community empowerment. Second, in terms of protecting and protecting the forest, coordination has been established from all parties concerned with the Wildlife Reserve forest area. Government governance in carrying out efforts to preserve the Bukit Rimbang Bukit Baling Wildlife Reserve area carried out by BBKSDA Riau has been realized to the maximum. First, accountability in managing the area is fully the responsibility of BBKSDA. Both data transparency is given according to positive and negative considerations. Third, the participation shown by the community was very good. and the fourth law enforcement has been realized with the involvement of all law enforcement components in Indonesia, namely the National Police and the TNI, as well as from the government namely the Forest Police and Satpol PP, and from the community has been formed Indigenous Forest Police who come from communities around the Wildlife Sanctuary Bukit Rimbang Bukit Baling
