Eksistensi Musik Barzanji Di Desa Alahan Kecamatan Rokan IV Koto Kabupaten Rokan Hulu Provinsi Riau

This study aims to determine the existence of Barzanji Music in Alahan Village, Rokan IV Koto District, Rokan Hulu Regency, Riau Province. The theory used in this study uses the theory of existence according to Dagun (in Gracia Destari Mujianto and Eko Raharjo, 2019:129) with indicators of Work Activities, Having Facts, and Efforts to Maintain Existence. The method used in this study is qualitative, namely the research used by approaching the object under study with data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation. This research was conducted in Alahan Village, Rokan IV Koto District, Rokan Hulu Regency, Riau Province. The subjects in this study were 7 people. The findings of this study are (i) in terms of the work activities of Barzanji's music in Alahan Village, it is increasingly known among the public because it is still displayed at an event marked by the practice schedule, organization, and implementation of Barzanji, (ii) has facts, Barzanji music in Alahan Village recognized from its history, the Islamic values contained in the moral formation based on the Qur'an, functions, clothing and music that accompanies it, (iii) the efforts made in maintaining the existence, the community and the Alahan Village government increase solidarity in creating innovations that attract everyone's attention so that increase the interest of people of all ages to preserve Barzanji's music
