Analisis Pelaksanaan Strategi Pengembangan Wisata Halal Pada Dinas Kebudayaan Dan Pariwisata Kota Pekanbaru

This research was conducted with the aim of analyzing and explaining the implementation of the Halal Tourism Development Strategy at the Pekanbaru City Culture and Tourism Office. This research was carried out using the first indicator of Making a Decree for the Acceleration of Halal Tourism Development, the second was the Socialization of Halal Tourism, and the third was Self Claim and Halal Certificate. This type of research uses descriptive quantitative methods. The results of the research for the first indicator, namely Making a Decree for the Acceleration of Halal Tourism Development, have been quite implemented, this is because some of them have the performance of the members of the Halal Tourism Development Acceleration Team, and feel that the second indicator is the Socialization of Halal Tourism. considering not a few of the community / business actors themselves who still do not understand the concept of halal tourism. Furthermore, in the third indicator, Selcf Claim and Halal Certificate, the results of the research show that it has not been implemented properly. this is because there are still many of them who have not yet been given the halal certificate themselves while they have made a self-claim for halal tourism, besides that there are also not a few of the community/business actors who have not enjoyed being registered and are included in the halal category. The implementation of the Halal Tourism Development Strategy at the Pekanbaru City Culture and Tourism Office is due to the lack of budget availability owned by the Pekanbaru City Culture and Tourism Office in carrying out halal tourism development activities so that the results are not maximized
