The purpose of this study was to determine and analyze the workload of nurses in the covid isolation room at the Mandau District General Hospital (RSUD Duri), to find out and analyze the work stress of nurses in the covid isolation inpatient room at the Mandau District General Hospital (Duri Hospital). ) and to find out and analyze the relationship between workload and performance through the work stress of nurses in the covid isolation room at the Mandau District General Hospital (RSUD Duri). This study used the Census technique, taking samples from the entire population of 40 medical personnel. . Data processing in this study using the software program Smartpls 3.0. From the results of the study it can be said that (1) The test results seen from the Direct Effect Path Coefficient Model (Mediation) indicate that the relationship between variable X and variable Y shows a positive and significant effect. between the workload and the performance of nurses in the Covid Isolation Inpatient Room at the Mandau District General Hospital (Rsud Duri). (2) The relationship between variable X and variable Z has a positive and significant effect between workload through work stress. (3) The relationship between variable Y with variable Z shows the results of a positive and significant effect between workload through nurses' work stress
