Konsep Diri Sales Promotion Girls (SPG) Rokok Dalam Menarik Minat Beli Konsumen (Studi Pada SPG Rokok Lucky Strike Di Pekanbaru)

Abstract Self Concept of Cigarette Sales Promotion Girls (SPG) in Attracting Consumer Purchase Interest (Study on Lucky Strike Cigarette SPG in Pekanbaru) Adis Aisara NPM: 159110125 Sales Promotion Girl (SPG) is basically the main function in promoting and introducing a product, indirectly it can be said to be the culmination of selling the product, because it is dealing directly with consumers. The strong negative public perception of the work of an SPG makes bad actions inevitably happen at any time. Although basically they know the risks that will be faced if they become SPG cigarettes, the high level of life necessity requires them to put these risks aside. The purpose of this study is to determine the self-concept of sales promotion girls (SPG) of cigarettes in attracting consumer buying interest (Study on Lucky Strike Cigarettes Spg in Pekanbaru). The research method used is a qualitative method. The subjects that became my research were Sales Promotion Girls (SPG) of Lucky Strike Cigarettes in Pekanbaru. Overall there were 25 people, but in this study only 4 people took the subject. As for the reason I chose the informant mentioned above because as a source to find information related to research conducted and directly related to the self-concept of cigarette sales promotion girls (SPG) in attracting consumer buying interest so that they can obtain accurate information. From the research results, it is concluded that the sales promotion girl (SPG) of cigarettes in Pekanbaru City has a positive self-concept in attracting consumer buying interest. Cigarette SPGs don't mind them using tight and sexy work clothes and getting seduced while what they get from consumers is still reasonable and they don't use physical contact, for them it's not a problem in terms of seduction because of the demands of their work, so things like that deemed reasonable. While the cigarette SPGs work straight and earn income, they will continue to work as cigarette sales promotion girls (SPG)
