Pengaruh Berbagai Pupuk Organik Dan MSG (Monosodium Glutamat) Terhadap Pertumbuhan Serta Produksi Tanaman Cabai Rawit (Capsicum Frutescens L.)

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the interaction of various organic fertilizers and MSG on the growth and production of cayenne pepper. The design used in this study was a factorial Completely Randomized Design (CRD) consisting of two factors, the first factor was various organic fertilizers (P) consisting of 4 levels, namely without treatment, rice straw compost, chicken manure, vermicompost fertilizer and the second factor was MSG (M) consisting of 4 levels, namely 0, 3.0, 6.0, and 9.0 g/polybag obtained 16 treatment combinations with 3 replications, so there were 48 experimental units. The parameters observed were plant height, stem diameter, flowering age, harvest age, number of productive branches, number of fruit planted, weight of fruit planted, and number of remaining fruit. The data were statistically analyzed and continued with the BNJ test at 5% level. The results showed that the interaction of various organic fertilizers and MSG had a significant effect on all observed parameters, except for the stem diameter parameter.
