Nilai Moral Dalam Novel Toba Dreams Karya Tb. Silalahi

The reason researchers chose to study moral values was because after reading the novel Toba Dreams by TB. Silalahi, many researchers find moral values that can be used as valuable lessons in living everyday life. Research problems (1) how is the moral value in the aspects of responsibility contained in the novel Toba Dreams by TB Silalahi ?, (2) how is the moral value in the aspect of conscience contained in the novel Toba Dreams by TB Silalahi ?, (3) how is the moral value on the aspects of liability contained in TB Silalahi's Toba Dreams novel. The purpose of this research is to find out, analyze and interpret the moral values related to the responsibilities, conscience, and obligations contained in the Toba Dreams novel by TB Silalahi. The theories used are K. Bertens (2004), and supporting theories of Barhanuddin Salam (2000) and Frans Magnis Suseno (1987), as well as other theories. The research method used is descriptive method using content analysis techniques (Nanang Martono (2016)). The data collection technique used by the writer is the hermeneutic technique. The results of the study (1) aspects of the responsibility contained in the novel Toba Dreams by TB Silalahi there are 5 data, (2) aspects of conscience contained in the novel Toba Dreams by TB Silalahi there are 15 data, and (3) aspects of the obligations contained in the novel Toba Dreams by TB Silalahi has 25 data
