The purpose of this research was to determined whether there is a relationship of metacognition awareness and way of learning with biology learning outcomes based on the academic ability of college students FKIP biology Islamic university of Riau Pekanbaru academic year 2020/2021. The research was conducted from December 2020. The study was a correlational and data correlation using questionnaires, documentation and interviews. The sampel in this research as many as 48 collega students with different level of academic ability. Analysis of the data in this study using correlation analysis Person Product Moment.
