Penegakan Hukum Terhadap Tindak Pidana Pornografi Dengan Cara Memposting Video Porno Di Akun Media Sosial Twitter Di wilayah Hukum Polda Riau

ABSTRACT The law enforcement by the Police in the crime of pornography must be further improved. The police are also charged with having a professional spirit in criminal acts of pornography in Indonesia with all existing regulations, starting from the Police Law relating to pornography and the Law on pornography in the country, so that the role of the police can optimize it to eradicate pornography crime and realizing the security of the Indonesian nation. To minimize the crime of pornography, the Police at the Riau Police collaborate with all relevant officials and elements of society in Riau Province and its surroundings. The problems in this research are as follows, namely how is law enforcement against perpetrators of criminal acts of spreading pornography on Twitter social media in the legal area of Polda Riau and whether there are obstacles in law enforcement against the spread of pornographic content on Twitter social media in the jurisdiction of the Riau Police. While the research method of observation research or sociology is by means of a survey, in which the author goes directly to the research location to obtain the necessary data by using data collection tools in the form of interviews. The nature of this research is descriptive, which means that this research provides a clear and detailed description of the main problems at hand. The results of the discussion show that the enforcement of the Police in enforcing the crime of pornography in the jurisdiction of the Riau Police has shown positive results. The Riau Regional Police as the apparatus entrusted by the state to carry out the function of law enforcement, maintaining security and public order, as well as protecting, protecting and serving the community, are obliged to prevent and tackle the crime of pornography that occurs. Polda Riau in enforcing the crime of pornography in accordance with the applicable law. Starting from receiving a report or complaint from someone, up to an investigation. This is proven by the success of the Riau Regional Police in arresting perpetrators of pornography crimes in Riau, especially in Pekanbaru, and this shows that the Riau regional police have carried out their roles in accordance with their role in accordance with the role theory, namely the role of law enforcement.
