The Problem discussed in this study is how the therapeutic communication that nurses carry out in the healing process of surgical inpatients. This study used qualitative research methods Research used the technique of taking the subject by means of purposive sampling. The informants in this study were nurses who had worked for about 5 years and who had a direct role in caring for surgical inpatiens. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The result of this study is the therapeutic communication performed by nurses in the healing process of surgical inpatients.
