Background: Anxiety can cause insomnia or sleep disturbances. Sleep disorders are characterized by abnormal sleep patterns that interfere with daily activities. This study aims to describe the relationship between the incidence rate and the severity of insomnia in medical students in the preclinical phase of the Faculty of Medicine, Public Health, and Nursing, Universitas Gadjah Mada.
