In this research article, we conducted an analysis in the papers published on Environmental Education (EE) in the Congress of Ecology of Brazil (CEB) and the National Meeting of Biology (NMBIO) during the years 2003 and 2019, in which we aimed to verify the perspectives of the curriculum theories of Silva (2001), classified as: traditional, critical, and post-critical. Therefore, we investigated the works of NMBIO and CEB, through the tool “locate” and the descriptor “environmental education”, in the titles related to education, resulting in 151 in CEB and 318 in NMBIO.
