A study of supervised farming programs in vocational agriculture schools in Area X of Texas

The purpose of this study is primarily two fold. Fist is to determine what constitutes the Supervised Farming Programs of the Vocational Agriculture Departments of Area X or Texas. Second attempt will be made to develop a plan for a Supervised Farming Program for the Departments of Vocational Agriculture in High Schools in South Texas. When courses in Vocational Agriculture were first established in secondary schools under the National Vocational Education Act, Supervised farming in agriculture was interpreted in many different ways. The term "supervised farming" really means farming under supervision of the instructor of vocational agriculture and a "project" becomes a unit in the individual's farming program
