O fundamento metafísico da ética na compaixão com a negação da vontade

This article analyzes the foundation of ethics in the work On the Foundation of Morals by Arthur Schopenhauer. It keeps the focus on the ethics of compassion--which was the concern of the 19th century philosopher--inferred from a metaphysical foundation without a telos. This moral motivation will be demonstrated on the basis of axiological elements, keeping the discourse distant from any investigation that might be considered enlightened. As to the metaphysical discourse, the article discusses the will and its negation.Esse artigo tem como objetivo analisar o fundamento da ética na obra Sobre o fundamento da moral, de Arthur Schopenhauer. Manteremos o foco na ética da compaixão, preocupação do filósofo do século XIX, inferida a partir de um fundamento metafísico sem um telos. Essa motivação moral será demonstrada a partir de elementos axiológicos, afastando o discurso de qualquer averiguação que possa ser considerada iluminista.
