O autor no imaginário da pós-modernidade: repensando Flusser e Foucault

The term authorship, at the present time, deserves to be revisited. Difficult to understand because it presents a polissemic meaning, the authorship has always generated controversy, mainly from Michel Foucault’s article (1969) based on his inaugural class in Collège of France, entitled What is an author?. Roland Barthes, other influential theoretical of the French thinkers’ lineage, was more explicit, and wrote The author’s death. The Czech Vilém Flusser also questioned the postulate of authorship, among many others. However, the author, who seemed to be dead, is reborn, blooms, returns to the scene, but with the form of post-modernity (Teixeira Coelho, 1995). Therefore, it is in the post-modern atmosphere that the author should be (re)thought. The thought of the authorship should be contemporary to the own authorship idea, which doesn’t mean an obligation to work just with its contemporary authors. The result is a paradox allowed in this post-modernity: reviewing the past to, in the present, launch seeds in this kind of society.Key words: authorship, imaginary, post-modernity.O termo autoria, na atualidade, merece ser revisitado. De difícil compreensão, pois apresenta um significado polissêmico, a autoria sempre gerou polêmica, principalmente a partir do artigo de Foucault (1969), base da sua aula inaugural no Collège de France, intitulado O que é um autor?. Barthes, outro influente teórico da linhagem de pensadores franceses, foi mais explícito e escreveu A morte do autor, um ano antes, em 1968. Mais um ensaísta, o tcheco radicado no Brasil, Vilém Flusser, também questionou o postulado da autoria, entre outros tantos. No entanto, quem parecia morto, o autor, renasce, floresce, volta à cena, mas com a forma da pós-modernidade (Teixeira Coelho, 1995). É, portanto, no ambiente pós-moderno que o autor deve ser (re)pensado. O pensamento da autoria deve ser contemporâneo à própria ideia que dela se tem, mas isso não significa obrigação de trabalhar apenas com autores contemporâneos em relação a esse pensamento. Diante disso, surge um paradoxo permitido nesta pós-modernidade: rever o passado para, no presente, lançar sementes neste estilo de sociedade.Palavras-chave: autoria, imaginário, pós-modernidad
