Do segredo à possibilidade de reparação: um estudo de caso sobre relacionamentos familiares no abuso sexual

This study investigated how an adolescent victim of intrafamilial sexual abuse realizes his/her family in terms of cohesion, hierarchy, affectivity, conflict and relations of identification. This is a case study, which involved a 13-year-old girl who had suffered sexual abuse perpetrated by her father. A semi-structured interview was conducted and the implementation of the instruments Familiograma - FG, Family System Test-FAST and Family Identification Test-FIT was done with the girl. The results showed the presence of former alcohol and violence by the abuser, ambivalence of the author of the report and incidence of psychological and physical violence. In addition, the girl reported having little affective and very conflicting relations with the abuser and more meaningful relationships with the stepmother and some siblings. The stepmother is also the stronger identification model for girl than the father. It is concluded that, from the adolescents’ perception, the parental couple presented conflicting and little affective relationships and the family was characterized by unbalanced and unstable relationships. Studies about these families are scarce in scientific environment and are extremely necessary, in order to expand the knowledge on the subject, and in terms of providing subsidies for interventions targeted at this population.Key words: intrafamilial sexual abuse, family relationships, domestic violence.Este estudo investigou como uma adolescente vítima de abuso sexual intrafamiliar percebe sua família em termos de coesão, hierarquia, afetividade, conflito e relações de identificação. Trata-se de um estudo de caso, do qual participou uma menina de 13 anos, que sofreu abuso sexual perpetrado por seu pai. Foi realizada a entrevista semi-estruturada e a aplicação dos instrumentos Familiograma - FG, Family System Test – FAST e Family Identification Test – FIT. Os resultados demonstraram a presença de alcoolismo e violência anterior por parte do abusador, ambivalência da pessoa autora da denúncia e incidência de violência física e psicológica, além da sexual de maus-tratos. Além disso, a menina evidenciou relações pouco afetivas e muito conflituosas com o abusador e relações mais significativas com a madrasta e alguns irmãos. Para a menina, a madrasta é também um modelo identificatório mais forte do que o pai. Pode-se concluir, a partir das percepções da adolescente, que o casal parental apresentava relacionamento conflituoso e pouco afetivo e que a família se caracterizava por relações desequilibradas e instáveis. Estudos sobre famílias em que ocorre abuso sexual são escassos no meio científico e tornam-se extremamente necessários, pois podem ampliar o conhecimento sobre o assunto e prover subsídios para as intervenções dirigidas a essa população.
