O conceito foucaultiano de literatura

This paper aims to analyse the concept of literature in Foucault’s thoughts in the sixties. Departing from Foucault’s thoughts about the ontology of literature, we demonstrated that the emergence of literature was possible as a consequence of the modern experience. Foucault shows that literature is the manifestation of the being of the language in its relation with death. We discuss the relation of literary writing with the modern experience, pointing its limits in sexuality, language and madness. Literature is seen here as the derangement of language, where we can observe the creation of its deciphering principals. Through this article, we observe that the literary writing is characterized by a basic transgressivity that refuses all tradition: past or future. Keywords: literature, literary writing, modern experience.O presente artigo analisa o conceito de literatura fundamentado na obra foucaultiana dos anos 1960. A partir do pensamento deste autor acerca da ontologia da literatura, mostramos que ela surgiu em decorrência da experiência moderna. Foucault a caracteriza como uma das manifestações do ser da linguagem em sua relação com a morte. Esta análise da escrita literária se encontra atrelada às vicissitudes da experiência moderna e suas relações com os limites da sexualidade, da linguagem e da loucura. A literatura é vista como um enlouquecimento da linguagem em que podemos observar uma construção de seu princípio de decifração. Através deste artigo, observamos que a escrita literária se caracteriza por uma transgressividade fundamental que recusa toda tradição passada ou por vir.
