Social representations (SR) on environmental education (EE) reveal knowledge, imaginaries, cosmovisions and ways of seeing and facing educational processes in contexts characterized by natural, social, and cultural dynamics framed in a common time and space. Thus, this article analyzes the SR on EE of ten teachers from a rural educational institution. The methodology is framed within the interpretative paradigm and the qualitative approach. The results show that SR on EE are naturalistic, globalizing, anthropocentric, ethical-moral, and resolutive.
