CORRELATION OF THE FORMING OF THE UNIVERSE IN THE QURAN WITH THE BIG BANG THEORY

Al-Qur’an and science is two things that needs harmonization in implementation of life. Everything was images in Quran but isn’t scientific book, it’s contains general themes of verses that trigger the development of science about universe phenomena more specific. Especially in this study the Kauniyah verses about the formation of the universe, its Qs. Al-Anbiya verse 30 and Qs. Al-A'raf verse 54, and modern theory namely Big-Bang theory. This study aims to correlate between modern theory (the Big-Bang) and verses about the formation of the universe, that modern science can’t be separated from the verses of Kauniyah in the Quran. The method are used is descriptive analysis to get correlation of them. The final result of this research that between scientific-based theory, namely the Big-Bang and two verses above it has correlation of them. Anew the heaven and the earth are merges, then Allah separated them, and life was started from water
