UHS Dances

The photographs were taken for the 1954 edition of the Uintah High School yearbook. They are on page 92. The photograph in the foreground at the top of the page is of Blaine Palmer and Joy Smith crowning the Harvest Ball Queen Marie Nelson, and the attendants Janet Johnson, Celestine Manzanares, and Frances Allen. The partial photograph in the background of the top right corner (see page 93 for the rest) is of unidentified students attending one of the many school dances. The photograph in the bottom left corner is of the royalty for the Sophomore dance, which was themed: "A Night in Sing Sing." The members of the royalty were: Dana Mar Herbert (Queen), Don Harrison (King), DeAnn Workman (Attendant), and Paul Guillory (Attendant). The partial photograph in the bottom right corner (see page 93 for the rest) is of the unidentified cast of The Floor Show for the Christmas Dance
