Competencias digitales docentes: un acercamiento inicial

The present study has a descriptive, non-experimental scope, under the qualitative paradigm as carries out a documentary analysis about the teaching digital skills that later will allows the development of new research based on this subject. For this purpose, a search and selection of documents was carried out that allowed establishing the background on the subject from the Anglo-Saxon countries, some European countries and Latin American countries until reaching the national level. Next, digital literacy, skills and competencies (including digital) are defined, to end with the teaching role and Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) as part of the central axis of this inquiry; since it can be concluded that education plays an arduous role and therefore the teaching role, as the one in charge of planning and executing the actions that form an integral, critical and competent citizen in the different areas of knowledge. This is why it is important to know about the subject and to propose contextualized reference requirements that, in parallel, promote teacher training in order to achieve the common objectives of the country and the region in the labor market.El estudio tiene un alcance de tipo descriptivo, no experimental, bajo el paradigma cualitativo ya que realiza un análisis documental acerca de las competencias digitales docentes que posteriormente permita el desarrollo de nuevas investigaciones a partir de esta materia. Para ello, se llevó a cabo una búsqueda y selección de documentos que permitió establecer los antecedentes sobre el tema desde los países anglosajones, algunos europeos y de América Latina hasta llegar al ámbito nacional. Seguidamente, se definen la alfabetización digital, las habilidades y competencias (entre ellas la digital), para finalizar con el rol docente y las Tecnologías de Información y Comunicación (TIC) como parte del eje central de esta indagación; ya que se puede concluir que es un arduo papel el que desempeña la educación y por consiguiente el rol docente, como el encargado de planificar y ejecutar las acciones que formen a un ciudadano integral, crítico y competente en los diferentes saberes. De ahí la relevancia de conocer sobre la temática y a partir de ella proponer requerimientos de referencia contextualizados que de forma paralela impulsen la formación del profesorado para lograr los objetivos comunes del país y de la región en el mercado laboral
