Bil-Hal Da'wah Activities at Al-Muawanah Islamic Boarding School in Improving Santri Morals in Alahair Village, Meranti Islands Regency

This research is motivated by moral problems in Islamic boarding school students, such as fighting, theft, and promiscuity. Therefore, the Al-Muawanah Islamic boarding school tries to always approach the students by carrying out bil-hal da'wah activities to make the students become Muslim individuals who are constantly devoted and beneficial to the nation and religion. The problem in this study is how the activities of bil-hal Islamic boarding school Al-Muawanah improve the morals of the students of Alahair Village, Meranti Islands Regency. Therefore, this study aimed to determine how the activities of da'wah bil-hal Islamic boarding school Al-Muawanah improve student morale in Alahair Village. The data in this study were obtained through interviews, observation, and documentation techniques with qualitative descriptive analysis. The informants in this study amounted to 5 people, including the caretaker of the Islamic boarding school, the Ustadz of the Islamic boarding school, the Ustadz of the Islamic boarding school, and two students of the Islamic boarding school. This study found that the Al-Muawanah Islamic boarding school used six forms of bil-hal da'wah activities. The first is motivation, namely by doing Istighasah activities to ask Allah to be kept away from all harm. Second, exemplary with reciting Yasin and Tahlil activities aim to get closer to Allah directly or Wasilah. They are third, coaching by providing a good example to the Al-Muawanah Islamic boarding school. Fourth, respect, by making a pilgrimage to the grave of Wali Allah to love always loving the ulama, respecting the saints of Allah because before we fought, they had been fighting for decades. Fifth, khusnudzon, with good intentions, have good faith in the kyai. Sixth, environmentally friendly by doing garbage collection activities every two days along the way of the Islamic boarding school and collaborating with Siaga village to educate the students on resilience. This program aims to maintain cleanliness because cleanliness is part of faith which is motivated by moral problems in Islamic boarding school students, such as fighting, theft, and promiscuity.
