This article, focused on the Textual Linguistics (CAVALCANTE et al., 2021) currently advocated in Brazil, aims at showing how the apprehension of stereotypes (both at the production and interpretation levels) can collaborate to the (re)construction of the argumentative dimension of digital native genres. To achieve the intended goal, we will analyze some examples of genres that circulated in the Brazilian context during the year 2021: an online news article and six tweets (two tweets-answer and four retweets).
