This research aims to show that black women, as they represented in Hidden Figures film, have multiple jeopardy which means that there are systems of inequality that work with and through each other to shape their experience uniquely. Furthermore, this research also aims to show whether their multiple jeopardy leads to the raising of consciousness that helps each character to fight the injustices. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative. The theory of multiple jeopardy and consciousness by a black feminist scholar, Deborah K. King is used to support the analysis.
