Transposition procedure on some Adjectives and Nouns Translation in English-Indonesia Assassin's Creed Renaissance Novel

This research was aimed to find out the types of Transposition and how does the transposition constructed in Assassin?s Creed Renaissance Novel. The theory that used in this research is based on Transposition by Peter Newmark, the data analysis by using qualitative method. First, the writer reads the Assassin?s Creed renaissance novel and compares it to its translation that has been translated by Melody Violin. Then, the writer observes what type of transposition are used when analyzing the data by marking and classifying where transposition occurs in translation. After that, the writer categorizes the data based on each type of transposition that are used and explain the occurrence of transposition in the data analysis. The types of transposition found are ten data, eight of them typed into first type of transposition, one data from fourt type of transposition, and one data from second type of transposition. Then, the transferrence constructed not efficient because so many reduplication form, meanwhile others still efficient. There are many ways that can done by translator to produce a good translation. In here, this procedure (transposition) has result several good translation although there are some transferrence words in target language regarding nominal concord translation.
