Readability Level and Feasibility of Content in English Textbook for Senior High School Grade X

This research was aimed to analyze the readability level, feasibility of contents in reading text materials, and the relevance of Pathway to English textbook for Senior High School Students Grade X based on 2013 curriculum. This research is classified as a qualitative. The findings of the research revealed that first, based on the analysis utilizing Flesch Reading Ease (FRE) formula, it was found that from 15 reading texts, there are 3 texts that are appropriate for grade 10 students of Senior High School but are classified as fairly difficult level. It indicates that the reading materials in this textbook are not appropriate for students in tenth grade. Second, the feasibility of contents of Pathway to English Textbook for Senior High School Students Grade X is not too good or in fair good level on the analysis of this textbook. The score of fair good category based on the finding found is 75%. Third, Pathway to Enghish Textbook for Senior High School Students Grade X is not compatible with the 2013 curriculum English syllabus
