In the context of industry 4.0, optimization via simulation (OvS) emerges as one of the most powerful tools in the modern industry, allowing decision-makers to allocate their resources more assertively. However, in very complex systems, the use of conventional OvS techniques requires computational time, which frequently, makes its application unfeasible.
