Efeitos da disseminação de lâmpadas led nos sistemas de distribuição

This work presents the results of an investigation of the impact of power quality disturbances in LED lighting technology. When existing such disturbances in the electrical system, they can cause damage to the most sensitive equipments. At the same time, the non-linearity feature of new lighting technologies may generate disturbances in the distribution system and consequently, cause power quality problems in the distribution system. In this scene, the widespread use of LED lamps and flooglights, in recent years, has become a concern for several worldwide’s researchers. In order to determine this cause-effect relationship between LED lighting and the distribution system, this work tested low power lamps, normally used in residential illumination and higher power lamps, used in industry and for public lighting. These lamps were tested in a laboratory setting, where it was possible to control the variables in order to determine the unique behavior of each technology studied. In addition, the new lighting technology’s impact on the power quality indicators in the distribution systems could be verified through measurements in establishment that have large quantities of LED lamps.Agência 1O presente trabalho apresenta os resultados de uma investigação do impacto dos distúrbios da qualidade da energia elétrica nas tecnologia LED de iluminação. Tais distúrbios quando presentes no sistema elétrico, podem causar danos aos equipamentos mais sensíveis. Ao mesmo tempo, a não-linearidade das novas tecnologias de iluminação pode gerar poluições no sistema de distribuição e consequentemente causarem problemas de qualidade da energia elétrica no sistema de distribuição. Neste cenário, a disseminação do uso das lâmpadas e refletores LED nos últimos anos se tornou uma preocupação de diversos pesquisadores no mundo. A fim de determinar essa relação causa-efeito entre a iluminação LED e o sistema de distribuição, este trabalho utilizou lâmpadas de baixa potência, normalmente utilizadas na iluminação residencial e lâmpadas de mais alta potência, utilizadas na indústria e para iluminação pública. Essas lâmpadas foram testadas em ambiente laboratorial, onde é possível controlar as variáveis a fim de determinar o comportamento singular de cada tecnologia estudada. Adicionalmente, o impacto desta nova tecnologia de iluminação sobre os indicadores de qualidade de energia nos sistemas de distribuição pôde ser verificado através de medições em instalações que apresentam grandes quantidades de lâmpadas LED
