Background : The general phenomenon of delirium is often found in the intensive care unit (ICU), the incidence of delirium in critically ill patients affects 60% to 80% of patients on mechanical ventilation. So it is necessary to screen for delirium using CAM-ICU-7.Purpose : Analyzing the application of the CAM-ICU-7 instrument in assessment the severity of delirium.Method : Case study design with descriptive analysis of observations based on case studies, the number of samples was 3 patients, using the CAM-ICU-7 instrument, carried out for 3 days.Result : Obtained age range > 40 years and > 50 years.
