The research, based on the same philological and textual method, is articulated in three parts. The first inspects the visible and invisible landscape of a Certosa of Padula’s feud, through a 1740's handwritten map (Fondo “Monasteri soppressi" of Archivio di Stato of Naples). The second analyses the “platee’s landscape” through a 1710's handwritten map, which depicts a land tenure of Montevergine's Abbey, in whose archive it is. The third examines the landscape of the place names in printed maps (XVII-XIX centuries) of Principato Citra, present Salerno's province.
