Le fratture periprotesiche dell\u2019anca: la nostra esperienza

Periprosthetic fractures in Total Hip Arthroplasty (THA) are a frequent problem for the orthopedic surgeon. In last 10 years, the incidence of this pathology has interested 1,5% in primary THA and till 6-8% in Revision prosthesis. In this context, the authors performed a study on 24 patients (6&42; 18&40) surgically treated for periprosthetic femoral fracture at the Clinica Ortopedica e Traumatologica, University of Trieste, Italy. The Period is from Jenuary 2006 to December 2011.
