Extratos vegetais são uma mistura complexa de substâncias que se origina do metabolismo de plantas e é transferida para um solvente durante o processo de extração. Nesses extratos existem compostos que atuam como agentes redutores e de estabilização permitindo que eles possam ser utilizados na síntese de nanopartículas de prata (NPs Ag). Este trabalho teve como objetivos a síntese de NPs Ag pelo extrato aquoso da folha de Eucalyptus grandis e a avaliação da atividade antibacteriana da suspensão resultante.
