purpose: Non-occlusive mesenteric ischemia (NOMI) is the most lethal form of acute mesenteric ischemia (58-70%) because of the poor understanding of its pathophysiology, its mild and nonspecific symptoms and signs at imaging, which often delay the diagnosis.
