The results of radiotherapy in 73 cases of basal-cell carcinoma of the orbital region are reported. All patients were re-examined 1, 3, 6 and 12 months after treatment and followed for to 1 to 7 years. The cure rate, one year after the end of radiotherapy, was 98.4%. The method proved valid, also giving good functional and aesthetic results and causing little discomfort to the patients
