The human olfactory system in vivo is difficult to study with fMRI for the presence of magnetic susceptibility changes that cause signal losses and artefacts. The aim of this work is to develop a fMRI technique to produce robust and reproducible results in group analysis. It was evaluated different pattern of activation for the menthol and heliotropyl acetone. This method could be effective for physiological studies and for clinical trials in altered sense of smell where group analysis is important
