Magneto-Fluid Hyperthermia (MFH) is a clinical treatment of cancer that exploits a magnetic nano-fluid to heat pathological tissues by means of a time-harmonics magnetic field: nanoparticles injected in cells cultured in a Petri dish are subject to the external field and heat. The optimal design of an inductor has been developed by resorting to a migration-assisted NSGA (M-NSGA) strategy. M-NSGA results are compared with the ones obtained using NSGA-II and two others modified NSGA algorithms.
