Objective: Hyperemesis gravidarum is characterized by severe nausea and vomiting in pregnancy, frequently resulting in severe maternal nutritional deficiency. Maternal undernutrition is associated with adverse offspring health outcomes. Whether hyperemesis gravidarum permanently affects offspring health remains unclear.
