Introduction: Colorectal cancer is the second most frequent cause of deaths from cancer worldwide. Enhanced recovery protocols (ERPs) were developed in 90s to improve the recovery of these patients. Within ERPs, this work aims to compare immune responsebetweenopenandlaparoscopicprocedurestosupportthebestsurgicalapproach.
