A short discussion about the thought of Giambattista Vico (1668-1744)and natural law, between the traditional notions of natural law based on either Aristotelian/Thomistic principles and the suggestions from the Enlightenment rationalism, face to the author's proposal that was the only natural law thinker to draw on the Roman legal tradition, rather than on Greek or Enlightenment philosophy
