There is evidence that immigrants experience inequalities in health and access to health care and how the Covid 19 pandemic worsened this situation. Based on qualitative research on access to oncological healthcare for migrant women living in Padua (Italy), this article analyses how the subjective experiences of illness are socially and historically produced and how different forms of agency shape inequalities of class, gender, age and nationality
