Protecting habitat at Courtney Creek

Courtney Creek is a 200-acre property located south of Brownsville, Oregon. In addition to extensive wet ash forests, prairie, and wetland habitat, this site has one of the largest populations of Bradshaw's lomatium in the Willamette Valley. Thanks to years of habitat protection and conservation work, Bradshaw's lomatium was officially removed from the Federal List of Endangered and Threatened Plants last year.This archived document is maintained by the State Library of Oregon as part of the Oregon Documents Depository Program.
