Pancasila and Citizenship Education Study Program, University of Muhammadiyah Ponorogo, Advisor 1) Dr. Sulton, M.Si 2) Dr. Ardhana Januar Mahardhani, M.KP This study aims to, (1) find out the students of Muhammadiyah 1 Ponorogo High School in using social media, (2) find out the political participation of Muhammadiyah 1 Ponorogo High School students, (3) find out the influence of social media on the political participation of Muhammadiyah high school students. 1 Ponorogo. This type of research is quantitative research with data collection through questionnaires distributed to samples that represent the existing population by determining the sample using a simple random sampling formula. The results of the study show 1) the use of social media that is often carried out by students of Muhammadiyah 1 Ponorogo High School is using social media to find and share campaign information with an average use of 3.27, 2) forms of Online political participation that are often carried out by school students. Muhammadiyah 1 Ponorogo Senior High School is expressing political thoughts with an average of 3.09, 3) based on the results of the T statistic test showing that the sig value is 0.000 > 0.05, then social media has a significant effect on Online political participation of Muhammadiyah high school students 1 Ponorogo.
