International audienceThe location, chronology and nature of the remains discovered on rue Lecointre, renew, and complete the archaeological corpus concerning the northern end of the city during the Early Roman period. The site constitutes a first glimpse for the early Roman and Alto-Imperial transition periods into the observation of a space used for worship in Reims/Durocortorum. Although it is difficult to determine the real importance of the cultic or funerary activities carried out on the site during the Final La Tène period, the chronological sequence of evidence, with the construction of a polygonal temple in the last third of the 1st c.
