Lymph node metastasis in patients with cutaneous squamous cell carcinoma (cSCC) of the head and neck are relatively common in high-risk patients treated in tertiary centres. Early detection and treatment of lymph node metastasis is essential, since it results in a better prognosis. It is important to adequately recognize highrisk cSCC. A clear and uniform international classification system can contribute to the management of these patients
