History of the Sandy Island School

This video is part one in a ten-part video collection of a tour of the Sandy Island School led by Rommy Pyatt. This clip opens on a bus traveling to the Sandy Island School. Rommy Pyatt, owner and operator of Tours de Sandy Island, explains that his great-Grandfather, Abraham Herriott, originally built the building as a school building. He further explains that the school was shut down in 1965, and the building became a senior citizen and youth activity center, where it eventually fell into disrepair.
