Previous studies show contradictory results concerning associations with age of onset of substance use, differences between genders, and comorbid substance use in patients with mood disorders on neuropsychological performance. This dissertation aims to investigate the cognitive functions, mood, and personality of hospital patients after a month of sobriety and identify psychological test methods to monitor their rehabilitation progress.
