The intention of this research was to analyze as the course of Letras-Libras of the Universidade Federal do Tocantins delineates the formative process of the future professor, by means of the epistemological implications of the Complex Thought of Edgar Morin. We examine the course's curricular structure, teaching actions and intersubjective relationships as fundamental elements for the reconnection and constitution of knowledge, based on the understanding of the multidimensional aspect of the deaf individuals beyond second language instruction.
