The Archaeological Museum of Adria has a very rich collection of glass findings, spanning a large period of time (from about the 6th century BC to the 4th century AD) and including a large variety of glass types, related to particular historical periods and produced with different techniques. Furthermore, the site of Adria is particularly important in the glass history for its peculiar geographical position: located in the North Adriatic area it has acted as a link between the Eastern Mediterranean and continental Europe.
